I have been fortunate to have children who played sports, not only youth leagues but in school also. I realize how difficult it is to organize and assure everyone gets their picture taken.
I was lucky enough to see an album of a famous athlete from our area who played major league baseball. They had pictures of him from the first organized sports he played right up and including his major league picture. They were taken by sports photographers. I remember this very well because some of the team members made fun of them. One time I forgot my money so I was in the other line. Needless to say I was not very happy. Fortunately my mother showed up with the money so I was able to move to the other line. I said, if I ever became a sports photographer I would make sure everyone’s photo was taken.
